# Moniary

> Moniary is Czech accounting software for small companies and sole traders (OSVČ): received and issued invoices, AI document extraction, bank transactions and payment matching, VAT filings and income tax. Its public API and the `moniary` command line let scripts and AI agents do the same work as the app, as the key's user in one workspace.

## Ways to connect

- **MCP server:** `https://moniary.com/api/mcp` (Streamable HTTP). Sign in with a Moniary account over OAuth and pick the workspaces to share; no API key needed. Best for chat clients and agents that speak MCP. Tools cover invoices, issued invoices, payments, bank transactions, contacts, tags and VAT previews; settings, deletes and sending payment orders stay in the app.
- **API:** every action is called as `POST https://moniary.com/api/v1/actions/<name>` with `Authorization: Bearer <API key>` and a JSON body; the result is in `data`. Documents upload through `POST https://moniary.com/api/v1/uploads`.
- **CLI:** `npx @moniary/cli login`, then `moniary actions`, `moniary run <action>` and `moniary upload <files>`.

Prefer read-only API keys, and ask the user before actions that issue, send or pay (API access `confirm`).
